This chassis is an example of CCM's ability to take a customer's design from database to production using a fabricated method. CCM engineers worked directly with the OEM to design and build a manufacturable and repeatable complex chassis. Tolerance stackups, form fit and function, cost drivers and even shipping methods were developed in order to complete the scope of the project. A combination of sheet metal, machined components, gasketing and hardware define this unit. All this was done in a 3 week period.
